full coverage covers your car and the other persons car. try progressive insurance. pretty cheap

full coverage covers your car in case you trash or someone else trashes your car as well as covering the other person but only to a certain limits. liability means they will pay for only the other person you hit..you a** ed out, and thats has limits too..ca state requires 15/30/10..
